At PEI Doodles we are passionate about our animals. Our litters are comprised of F1B Aussiedoodles and F1B Bernedoodles. We specialize in well tempered puppies who are exposed to other animals, children and household noises. All of the animals in our program are genetically tested for genetic abnormalities prior to breeding.
Simple interactions early in a puppy's life may increase its ability to learn and cope successfully with stress later on, thus leading to better outcomes.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) is started when the puppies are just 3 days old. It involves applying gentle stressors to a very young animal for short periods of time, it is thought to improve their stress later in life. The stressors - often include removing animals from their littermates for short periods of time, very briefly exposing them to cool temperatures, holding them in difference positions, and gently touching parts of their bodies - are applied for a few seconds, once a day for 16 days. Performing ENS with puppies shows improved heart rate, stronger heartbeats, better tolerance to stress and greater resistance to disease.
Early Scent Introduction (ESI) is also started with each puppy on day 3 and ending on day 16. We select pungent scent items based on the the work that our dogs will be doing (hunting, tracking) as well as items they may interact with during their daily life. This procedure creates a more aware and alert dog, which in turn makes an even better companion, service and therapy dog. Many times with therapy and early service dog training, the dog's scent abilities are a characteristic that is required. Studies have shown that stimulating puppies early on has been proven to dramatically increase their scent ability later in life.
Naturally some dogs have more of a natural nose instinct compared to others. By doing this training and recording their reactions it helps us match the right puppy with the right individual need.
Stud Services
We have two studs available. Whiskey, aka Blue is a Blue Merle Aussiedoodle with stunning blue eyes, he weighs 25 pounds. Cabot, aka Nipper is a Moyen Parti Poodle weighing 32 pounds. Both males are genetically tested. Please contact for pricing.

Artificial Insemination
Sometimes when breeding, additional help is needed. Artificial insemination services available utilizing your stud and female. Three appointments recommended. Cost is $100 per session plus mileage if outside of area.
Litter/Birth Assistance
Even the most experienced breeder can experience difficulties. I will always provide advice rather then have mom or puppies at risk. If you find yourself in a situation where you need advise, or perhaps you have a new litter of puppies and you are unable to rear, contact me and I will raise and find loving homes for them.

PEI Doodles is a celebrated Dog Breeder based in Atlantic Canada. I originally started breeding CKC Registered show dogs in the mid 1990's.
My focus is on making their transition from our loving home to yours as easy as possible. We strive to breed the best animals we can, educate their new owners and ensure these precious creatures get the love, care and attention they deserve.
Many of our pups with further training have gone on to be service animals helping those with PTSD, Anxiety, and other health challenges. The training and exposure received in our home gives them the best start possible.
